Hey! Welcome to my Neocities site! I love programming, learning, and teaching folks about programming.
I first starting programming about 11 years ago in Lua to program my ComputerCraft turtles in Minecraft
so they could be able to harvest all the wheat in my farm or strip mine in a specific pattern--and when
I was playing unmodded Minecraft I would create elaborate redstone circuits for fun game such as rock,
paper, scissors (vs a randomized AI); and more complicated concepts such as a qwerty keyboard with 20
characters of memory that had a scrolling text display.
For my undergrad, I got my B.S. in Computer Engineering which was about 75% EE and 25% software focused.
During my studies, I spent a lot of time coding in my free time, following OneLoneCoder on YouTube, making
silly games in Python, coming up with terrible programming languages, and applying for internships when
I wasn't spending time with friends.
Since graduation, I've been working professionally as an embedded software engineer, specializing in
monitor and control for real time servo systems. These days while I'm working, I'm also balancing pursuing
my Master's degree in Computer Science. When I'm doing programming-related things in my free time, I'm
working on personal projects, teaching up-and-coming programmers, and talking shop about algorithm and
game design concepts.
